MSI Company History

  • Started in 1970 by Henry Van Beber in his garage.
  • Moved to first building in Farmers Branch Texas in 1972. At this time annual sales were $250,000.
  • Moved to second building in Dallas, Texas in 1974. At this time annual sales were $500,000.
  • In 1980 built and moved in to 15,000 foot building in Rowlett Texas. annual sales were $1,000,000. Total employees 18.
  • In 1983 Matt Van Beber (son) joins the company as outside sales representative.
  • In 1985 Greg Van Beber (son) joins company as production manager.
  • In 1993 the Henry Van Beber passes the company on to his 2 sons Matt and Greg. Annual sales approximately $2,500,000.
  • In 2006 buy and move into current 40,000 foot production facility in Garland Texas. Annual sales $8,000,000.Total employees 80.
  • In January of 2011 MSI partners with Adam Walterschied to start an apparel printing company called T-Shirt Tycoon.
  • In April of 2012 T-Shirt Tycoon buys the T-shirt brand House of Pain. House of Pain caters to the Powerlifting industry.
  • 2012 projected annual sales for MSI is $11,500,000.
