Looking for the next generation of overlays?
Have a special looking overlay in mind? Let the experts at MSI help you design your next generation overlay. The overlay featured this month incorporates a .003 brush silver polyester to give the overlay a metallic background. MSI was able to selectively apply the brushed chrome polyester to avoid the LCD displays and switches. Also notice MSI has tinted the LCD display windows “smoke gray”. Red, yellow, orange and many other colors are available for the LCD display and LED windows.
A Closer Look:
Top Layer:
Removable clear cling masking. The cling can be removed at the time of application or left for customer to remove upon first use.
1st Material Layer:
.010 Gloss Marnot Polycarbonate. The “Marnot: coating provides added chemical and scratch resistance for the overlay.
2nd Material Layer:
.003 Brushed Chrome Polyester.
Adhesive Layer:
.002 permanent acrylic adhesive.
Protective Liner:
Designed to protect adhesives until time of application.
