Nothing too flashy, just MSI’s Roll Labels. Roll Labels are the linemen of the Label Industry, the behind the scenes work horses.
We here at MSI have produced Roll Labels for over 30 years. We have two production methods, Roll to roll screen print and Hot Stamp roll label printing.
Hot Stamp Roll Label Printing:
Features: Produces labels 1 and 2 color labels with lamination in sizes up to 6 x 6
Advantages: Produces high quality labels with low up front set up and tooling cost. MSI also has an extensive library of dies in all shapes and sizes.
Benefits: Low cost, quick delivery and high quality durable labels. UL and CSA certified.
Roll to Roll Screen Printing:
Features: Produces multi color labels on all types of materials ranging from sub-surface printed lexan to top printed polyester and vinyl in sizes up to 12 x 16.
Advantages: Excellent print quality, PMS and custom colors, tolerances of +-.010.
Benefits: Low cost, high quality and high volumes.

The Equipment:
The Klemm (Roll to roll screen printing)
Features: The Klemm printing press features 2 print stations, laminating, die cutting and sheeting all in one press in one pass. Typical screen printing is done on sheets printing only 1 color at a time. Additional operations such as laminating and die cutting are done as separate operations.
