The samples previewed for May Label of the Month are only prototypes in the sense that they were produced completely digital and manufactured quickly. These samples are made from the same materials used in the standard overlay and nameplate production.
It is now easy to produce “Prototype” overlays and nameplates in days not weeks. There is no sacrifice in print quality or materials used. These prototypes can withstand the same harsh conditions as any production overlays or nameplates.
MSI currently utilizes 2 types of digital printing: Indigo (Digital Offset) and Ink-jet. These methods produce up to 1400 dpi detail making even the most demanding gradient and four color process work easy and painless. Want to use1, 10, 20 or 50 colors in your overlay or nameplate. No problem and NO EXTRA COST. These machines print ALL the colors in one pass in perfect registration. Digital’s time has come!
Our two LASER cutters make quick work of prototype nightmares. These machines can cut up to .125 thick materials and in most cases hold +-.010 tolerances.
