TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR your overlay, nameplate, labels, and any other projects you are relying on MSI for. And we take responsibility for these projects from start to finish. We put everything on our shoulders because we know you are relying on us to be the experts so you don't have to be.
WATCHING FOR elements in your project that might prevent the end result from meeting your expectations. This includes scouring your files to make sure they are setup exactly right and making adjustments, with your input to ensure they lead to a successful project. Even on re-orders we meticulously review your order to ensure that your needs and goals for your project are met.
INVITING YOU to challenge us. The simplest way to evaluate whether we are serious about what we say and to see if we can back up our philosophies is to put us to the test. How many label companies are you familiar with where the owner freely shares his cell phone number with his or her clients. Dedication flows from the top down at MSI and we invite you bring your toughest challenges to us and put us to the test. Then you can make your own decisions about how dedicated we are to making client projects a success and if that is truly borne from a commitment to taking full responsibility for every asset of your project.
PROCESS:
1. You are provided a quote for your project and, if budget is a concern, we will provide cost reduction ideas for the project whenever we can.
2. If your project is actually a re-order, we will ensure your order is for the most current revision of your label, nameplate or overlay.
3. A reliable delivery date is provided for the project to ensure that your timeline goals are met. If anything changes on our client's end or on our own, we immediately get to work on making alternative arrangements that work within the adjust time frame and circumstances.
4. Once the project files have been delivered, we'll get them ready for production, promptly. We don't sit on files once they've been provided to us. The first step is for our Color Match Department to color match your project. We will provide you a 2 part card for approval. Each part of the card will have a color swatch on it. Sign and approve the color by returning the MSI section of the card and keeping the customer section for your records.
5. Our Art Department provides the first quality check for your project by making sure that the files we are provided and/or build for the project are done correctly and have all of the information necessary to produce the perfect label, nameplate or overlay.
6. We provide you another checkpoint after the Art Department prepares the project files and then, after approval, releases the order(s) to production.
Screen Printing - In our Screen Printing department screens are shot while materials are prepared for production
Digital Printing - If your project is digital, the approved files are sent directly to the presses for production.
Hot Stamp roll printing - Printing plates are ordered.
Steel rule dies are ordered.
7. As your label, nameplate or overlay begins to go through the production process, we continue to check the specifications for the project at each step and internally approve the project before it proceeds to the next step of production.
8. On all new label, nameplate or overlay projects MSI performs an internal FAI. Upon approval the project is moved on to the shipping department.
9. In order to have a project be successful, every aspect of it needs to meet your initial requirements, including shipping. This means your project is shipped exactly according to your instructions: from shipping method, shipping address, delivery date and packaging instructions.
10. After a project has shipped we provide the invoice for the project. You'll probably notice right away that your invoice matches your P.O. exactly to the letter allowing you to wrap up your project without trouble within your organization.
11. If your project happened to be a priority job, we'll follow that up with a phone call to check that you have everything you need.
12. Once we "wrap" up the project, we store and retain for 5 years every project related work order, blueprint, file, production sample and detailed records of the project. If you ever need to reprint or revisit a project, we have everything you need to do that.
