Membrane switch keypads, a switch for turning off and on a circuit, are versatile and can be integrated into almost any electronic device. Since membrane switches are custom designed to meet specific applications, each product will have its own criteria to meet. 2. How many actuations will the switch incur?
3. Type of connection interface?
4. Length of tail?

2. Will ESD or EMI shielding be necessary?
3. What closed loop resistance is acceptable?
4. Will LED's or other electrical components be required?
Environmental:
1. What humidity and temperature range will the switch experience?

3. What chemicals will the switch need to withstand?
